JOB SEARCH / Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Materials Management (MM) advices to distributors and hospitals to ensure safety-stocks and documents expectations are in line with updates and corporate policies.
- Inform customers of any delays in picking up containers from the Port to avoid detention/ demurrage (payment of additional charges).
- Handle all incoming customers and distributors’ related claims and complaints (short shipments, damaged goods, expired goods, undertaking letters, wrong prices & any other customer related complaints). Create a file for each new complaint in order to have proper backup documentation and traceability which will help the Finance department.
- Ensure orders are entered promptly and accurately the soonest.
- Follow up to issue Debit/Credit for approved discrepancies and update the Debit/Credit database accordingly for any claim related issues.
- Provide complete and fast customers service on all MM related issues to internal and external customers.
- Ensure and manage filing of MM-related documentation.
- Create monthly check of open-orders to prevent incorrect delivery conditions and commissions from being invoiced.
- Prepare reports showing no discrepancies and/or rectifications on monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics and Demand fields
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce/Sciences, Finance or equivalent
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- AS400/Manugistics experience is desirable
