Job Responsibilities

The Performance Management Officer is responsible for implementing a full-fledged performance management system, overseeing all activities related to the performance management cycle, managing all communication and monitoring of the process to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to the business needs while fostering a performance driven culture.


  • Drive and manage the development and implementation of company performance management systems, processes and tools.
  • Raise the awareness and understanding of the performance management system.
  • Assist the Direct Supervisors/Managers in translating objectives into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to accurately define the competencies and skills required for each job within the organization.
  • Validate that the KPIs are S.M.A.R.T. and aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Direct Supervisors/Managers in conducting the performance appraisal as scheduled throughout the year.
  • Recommend reviewing KPIs on a regular basis to fine tune or change course entirely to fit the changing needs of the business.
  • Develop and conduct trainings and workshops to ensure that all performance management systems are accurately understood and exercised by all users.
  • Review, monitor and analyze performance results of all employees and report them accurately and timely to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development Specialist to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in identifying high potentials in each Division/Department and propose potential candidates for internal transfers/promotions based on performance results.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the field by engaging in professional development activities.
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline. Master’s degree is a plus
  • 1 to 2 years of performance management experience is required
  • Ability to generate and analyze various performance metrics using Excel and other reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Human Resources functions and processes
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels.
